CSA Week 9

No fair! I didn't get potatoes!!! I did get an amazing amount of many greens.

Let's see what Saturday's share holds. I may need your help in creating new recipes for the greens!

A nice soup with white beans and chicken (if you eat them) or chickpeas and tomatoes is always a treat (lots of garlic). Greens sauteed with a sunny egg and cheese or greens added to a boring can of soup or greens with pasta and Thai peanut sauce or last weeks fav - mini frittata's. Put greens (sauteed in garlic) and chopped tomatoes in muffin tin, add egg, cook. Taaaaaa-daaaaaaaa - easy pop and eat treats for breakfast all week. By the way, I did get sweet potatoes Wed. They will be sliced and grilled this weekend. Oh, and the okra was back.
